Although all approvals and permits were in place, we have just learned from the Municipality that Talbot Street - a critical part of the much anticipated new route for 2019 - will be closed due to road construction. As such, for 2019, The County Marathon and Half Marathon will follow the routes used in previous years. Both races will continue to finish in Picton at the Fair Grounds, with the full marathon (0630 bus departure for Wellington) and half marathon (0800 bus departure for East Lake) starting at their previously established locations. Relay runners will be bussed to their start location. Adequate parking is available at the Picton Fairgrounds - no parking is available at the start of the half or relay transitions.
